Composite Gestures Faculty Exhibition Curriculum Wall. I designed this wall as part of the tenure and promotion exhibition for UW faculty members Jason Germany (Assistant Professor Industrial Design), Axel Roesler (Associate Professor Interaction Design) and me (Associate Professor Visual Communication Design).
Each set of pages is held on the wall with a 2-ring binding clip (purchased on Etsy). The sheets with student work can be used again and can be switched out when needed.
The covers were laser cut using a stencil typeface. Short descriptions of each class start each set of pages. The entire collection represents classes taught by three faculty at all levels of the programs.
The classes are listed in order, from freshman to graduate level.
The interactive nature of the wall was enjoyed by alumni, current students and visitors to the School who were unfamiliar with the Division of Design.
